Koi are known for their resilience as they press against the current. In this piece, their movement becomes symbolic-of both perseverance and the inner tension between our will and God's direction. 

"Resistance" speaks to a two-fold struggle: pushing through the challenges of life and resisting His guidance when fear or pride take the lead.  

In this life, there will be resistance. Yet we are not alone in the current.
